In order for a new pupil to be accepted into Kinder, Primary or Secondary, VICTORIA carries out a Day Trial. A Day Trial means spending a complete school day in the corresponding year group. Throughout the day, the student's Spanish, English, maths, reading and writing skills are evaluated. Attention is also given to their learning potential, social skills, communication with peers and response to a new environment.
At the end of the school day, the Head of School discusses the Day Trial with the parents.
The English level of potential 6th Form or Prepa students is assessed by the Head of Secondary, in an interview, before a Day Trial is arranged.
All Day Trials are scheduled at least one week in advance.
