Ciao sono la professoressa Cecilia Pederzolli!
As you know, I am Italian. I came to Mexico 13 years ago with my family and I have been living in Tequisquiapan since 2012.
I graduated from conservatories http://www.conservatorio.tn.it/ita/index.htm, both in string bass in 1995 and lyric singing in 2000, and played in orchestras under the direction of great directors such as Muti, Sinopoli, Gatti, etc. Since 2000, I have devoted my career to singing which actually is my main passion. I have also taken courses in Musical Education and Music Therapy.
I really like to perform on stage with historic costumes, interpreting different personages, and living every performance in different periods of history, feelings and stories.
This is actually the reason why I like the Carnival so much!
My best teacher in the world was a famous English bass binger called Malcolm King.
My dream was to sing as a soloist in an opera and Mexico gave me the opportunity to make this dream come true. In 2004, I sang for the "Compañía de la Ópera de la OSLA” in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
I suspended my professional activities in the USA after my maternity leave and we returned to Mexico in 2012 and to the music world but now as a teacher.
As a teacher, I really enjoy to see my students grow and fall in love with music.
The thing that I miss the most about Italy is the region where I was born - Trentino Alto Adige, its mountains and green woods where I find beauty and perfection.
I am a proactive person and I work hard to carry out these ideals wherever I am. How? Watering the public garden in front of my house, picking up trash, teaching with passion and working hard with my students to reach the highest level of achievement.
