Board of Directors

To guide the school, and maintain the unique character of VICTORIA, a Board of Directors is responsible for developing policy and monitoring progress. Members of the board are selected from the whole school community. They contribute valuable expertise, time, energy and a willingness to serve.

Their role is not concerned with daily details of school finance, teaching nor administration. The board’s area of authority is to define, and often refine, statements of policy, always with reference to the VICTORIA Philosophy. New policies are researched, brainstormed, drafted, debated, edited and finally adopted. Established policies are reviewed and sometimes adapted.

The Head of School, supported by teaching and administrative teams, implements policy to ensure the best possible education.
